Honda CR-V Negotiation Guide
Video Summary Page (12/3/2023) Suggestions Expire at End of Month
Inventory vs. Competition
As you can see, The Honda CR-V is stocked with near equal amounts of Gas and Hybrid models, however it’s main competitors, namely the Rogue and the CX-5 are equally as stocked with their gas only counterparts. A CR-V gas model would not be hard to come by at the moment and the majority of the inventory is going to be 2024 model year vehicles.
Inventory by Trim Level
The two main trims you are going to find on dealer lots are the EX and the EX-L. Quite frankly, it wouldn’t even be worth wasting your time with finding anything besides these two because of the amount of value that they give for their price.
Suggested Trim, MSRP, and Target Discount
Target Trim: EX AWD
Example MSRP: $35,290
Target Discount Range: 0%-6% OFF MSRP
Target Selling Price: $33,290
According to many of the customers posting online, as well as the available inventory levels, I do believe negotiating about $2,000 on this trim or 6% off the MSRP of a different trim model would be possible. It would be very hard, but very possible.
Special Offers & Lease Rates
Rebates: N/A
Loyalty: $500 (Lease Customers)
Military: $500
Recent College Grad: $500
Special APR: 3.9% @ 48, 4.9% @ 60, 5.9% @ 72

Lease Residual: 64% @ 36 Months (12k mi)
Lease Money Factor: .00197
Honda is currently not offering any promotional rebates, however they are offering a promotional APR for 2024 models. In my opinion, the lease program is not too bad given the relatively higher residual and low money factor relative to it’s competitors. The money factor in this case translates to about a 4.73% APR on this lease.
